It was 1998. I was a 26 year-old college drop-out. I was working as an account rep for an ice company that required lots of driving. One day between accounts, I was sitting in my car in a grocery store parking lot, my engine running, while stuffing my face with a greasy burger. Bored, I caught myself staring at the gages in my dashboard, when I noticed the temperature slowly going up. Oh no, I thought, not again.
