Success & Failure

Before you go any further in this article, or in life, I want you to STOP, and think this question through. And don’t read on to find the answer until you have come up with one that satisfies you first. OK? Here’s question…

Q. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO FAIL?

(No cheating! I want you to come up with an answer first!)

You got it?

OK, here’s the answer…

A. ALL OF YOUR LIFE!

It take’s all of your life to fail, because most people don’t realize they are failing until life is over. They lie in their proverbial death bed looking back, and they realize, they failed. And at that point, it’s too late to do anything about it.

It takes all of your life to fail! Got it!?

Now, next question, and perhaps more relevant to our discussion…

Q. How long does it take to SUCCEED?

A. Six years…or less!

I was taught by one of my original mentors that anyone could change their life in six years. Anyone can become a success in six years. Anyone can leave mediocrity and, even poverty, and enter into a life of success and abundance in six years… any six. It can be done between the ages of 18 and 24. 24 and 30. 30 and 36. 36 and 42. 42 and 48. Any six! 60 to 66. 81 to 87. Any six! You got it?

Six years is long enough for a serious student of success to experience radical, positive changes in their life. Six years is long enough for YOU to experience radical, positive life change. That should be great news for anyone wanting or needing change. Six years is nothing! Think about what you were doing six years ago. For most people, life is not that much different over a six year course. Unless of course you are on the path and following the recipe for success. In that case, six years makes all the difference.

That’s the good news. Here’s the GREAT NEWS! If six years is too long to wait, just follow the recipe (I’ll give it to you later) for five years. Can’t do five years? Try four. Four too much for ya? How about hangin’ in their for three? Three too much of a stretch for ya? Just follow the recipe for 2 years? Got A.D.D? Can’t wait to 2 whole years to see and experience positive life change? Then follow the recipe I will give you in this article, for one full year, and you will be so amazed by the results, you’ll be willing to follow the recipe for a lifetime!

Here’s what happened to me. According to my social security reports, prior to learning the recipe for success in six years or less, the most money I had ever earned in one year was about $14,000. That was the best year. My average years however, prior to learning the recipe, was about $7,000. Then, two things happened. First, I discovered the awesome power of personal development. In the world of personal development I learned lots of things, but namely, I learned the recipe for success in six years or less. And, during the process of following that recipe,  I learned how to be a manifester; I learned how to attract what I wanted into my life, seemingly effortlessly. So even though I was a college drop out, and was living in a bad part of town, living below the poverty level, I had at least two things going for me. I had the recipe, and I had attracted a unique opportunity into my life (which everyone can do when they learn how).

With that combination, one year later, I TRIPLED my full time income from $7,000 a year to $21,000 a year. As I said earlier, you give this recipe one year, and you will be elated with the results… just as I was. This was the year 2000. I was 28 years old, and $21,000 happened to be the most money I had ever earned in my life. As they say in Texas, I was walking in high cotton!

Thrilled beyond description, I hunkered down and continued to follow the recipe in year two. That year, 2001, my income DOUBLED from $21,000 to $43,800. The next year, 2002, my income TRIPLED going from $43,800 to over $144,000. And it has just gotten better and better and even WAY better :) since then!

Now I know money is not everything, but like Zig Zigler says, it ranks up there with oxygen. So agreed, it’s not everything, but it is easy to count. And it’s one way to see how you’re doing, and if your making progress.

So that’s what happened for me. I went from poverty and the near ghetto to millionaire in just a handful of years. And who am I? No one any more or less important than you. If you haven’t enjoyed this type of progress, the only difference between you and me is, I learned and followed the recipe in my life and you either don’t know the recipe, or you do, but you haven’t followed it, or you haven’t followed it consistently, and allowed the compounding effect to kick in. And, I guess there is one more variable, and that’s what I call, the preparation stage. And I’ll talk describe the preparation stage in my next post. Stay tuned.
