As you may have noticed, I have not posted here in a long time. There’s a method to my madness, I promise. I have been working on several really exciting projects.
First, I will be launching the coolest and most unique personal development app available on iTunes for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. I’m not able to share all the juicy details with you right now, but Read the story »

I do a seminar every Tuesday night in San Bernardino. One evening, on the way to the bathroom, I noticed the sign above, that said, “Renovating Our Future.” I found it’s message so profound, that I took a picture with my iPhone with the intent to write about it in the future. (OOps! Technical problems. Stay tuned.)

It has been TOO LONG! I haven’t written an article in quite some time. Some of you have been scolding me via email. I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I’m repenting!
Recently, one of my businesses brought in more than $50,000 in one month. Obviously, I’m no Bill Gates, but
for a kid from Benbrook, Texas who was living in the bad part of town not too many years ago, trying to carve out an existence waiting tables, 50 g’s is pretty good.
I just received my Social Security reports that show how much money I’ve earned over my lifetime. Prior to my embarking on this journey of personal development, according to that report, I was averaging $7,000 annually, as an adult male, working in America. Pathetic, I know. So how did I go from $7,000 a year to $50,000 a month? Read the story »

I have devoted a large portion of the last 10 years of my life to acquiring, assimilating, organizing and sharing personal growth information, concepts and techniques. I have had a near insatiable desire to learn and to grow. I have read hundreds of books and articles on achievement and enjoying the good life. I have listened to dozens of audio programs. And, attended countless seminars and weekend workshops to help me in my quest to be better and enjoy and higher quality of life. All of that information combined with a unique opportunity as well as some smart, consistent work has allowed me to create a multi-six figure passive income and, become a millionaire. There are many naysayers in the world who think that, “self help,” or “personal development” is a scam at worst and a waste of time at best. What?!? Read the story »

Rhonda Byrne felt like her life was crumbling around her. She had hit rock bottom. One day she came home to discover a gift her daughter left her. It was a book, The Science of Getting Rich. She read the book, and for the first time in her life, learned that there was truly a secret to success. If the secret she learned was real, it was not only limited to success, but anything else a person could ever want. If the secret worked, the love, the money, the health, the fame, the car, the house, the success, the goal, anything she wanted would be hers. And, it can be yours too. Read the story »

It was a recording of a seminar that Jack Canfield did. Jack is the co-author of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series, as well as many other best-selling books. And, later, he became one of the Secret teachers on the movie The Secret. I learned “the secret” of attracting anything you want into your life, way before there was a video about it.
I listened to those two tapes over, and over, and over. It was all so new to me, and so exciting. All this talk about positive mental attitude, positive self talk, affirmations, Read the story »

This article is continued from part 1.
Even before I met her brother, Curtis, I just knew that I would be hired, and this would be what I would do for the rest of my life. After all, I had a premonition…a vision…I saw into the future. I discovered my destiny.
The next day, I went down for an interview. It was no interview at all. It was he and his business partner standing in the door way of their office just shootin’ the bull with me. After a few minutes, he said, “I like you. If you want the job it’s yours.” I said yes and was hired on the spot. I started the next day. Read the story »

It was 1998. I was a 26 year-old college drop-out. I was working as an account rep for an ice company that required lots of driving. One day between accounts, I was sitting in my car in a grocery store parking lot, my engine running, while stuffing my face with a greasy burger. Bored, I caught myself staring at the gages in my dashboard, when I noticed the temperature slowly going up. Oh no, I thought, not again. (On a trip from Hades from Utah to Texas, my car did the same thing just before my radiator blew up.) I had absolutely no money in the bank, and knew if my radiator blew again, I’d be hanging out all day with Dr. Scholl’s. Read the story »

In my life, I’ve been scared a lot. I’ve dealt with fear in just about everything I’ve done. It’s a very powerful force in most people’s life. I don’t know that it’s power ever completely leaves us, at least in my experience. It certainly doesn’t control me like it once did, but it, or something related to it, still shows up from time to time.

Almost everyone has a hero. Who is yours? Though most of us can name our hero, very few of us ever become someone else’s hero. Are you ok with that? Do you want to do something great?
